ALPHA: An opportunity to explore the meaning of life
This fall Alpha is coming back to Harrisonburg!
Please join us for a delicious dinner on Wednesday evening, September 12, 2007, at 6:00 p.m., to learn more about Alpha, and consider joining us for the 10-week session of dinners, talks and discussions.
Alpha will meet at the Ramada Inn on Pleasant Valley Road at South Main Street in Harrisonburg and will continue on Wednesday evenings throughout the fall until November 14.
The first night isn’t a commitment. It’s simply a chance to see if Alpha might be for you. Bring a friend, and learn more about this course that explores what faith means to our everyday lives. Our topic for the first evening: “Christianity: Boring, Untrue, Irrelevant?”
If you like what you hear and want to return for the rest of the course, we’d love to have you! |

- “to take a refresher course about the church of my childhood”
- “for the pleasant conversation around interesting and important topics”
- “to explore Christian Spirituality for the first time”
Topics include:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus Die?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how do I pray?
- How does God guide us?
- Who is the Holy Spirit?
- What does the Holy Spirit do?
