Our Vision
- Our vision is a church whose corporate worship is magnetic to the visitor and edifying to the member, leaving no doubt in anyone's mind that God is present when we gather. I Corinthians 14:25-26; Rev 5:13,14
- Our vision is a body made up of life-changing small groups so that each member enjoys deep fellowship, pastoral care, accountable relationships, Christ-like growth, and regular opportunities for ministry. Acts 2:42-47
- Our vision is a mature body through which all the spiritual gifts operate as all the members are deployed in ministry according to our God-given capabilities. Ephesians 4:11-16
- Our vision is a children's ministry that develops a strong spiritual base for each phase of life, as well as life long participation in the church. Acts 2:39
- Our vision is a generous and compassionate people whose community life resembles that in the Book of Acts where no one lacked any needed thing. Acts 3:30-35
- Our vision is a church expectant to see God's healing and life-changing power at work in our midst, able to minister with power these graces and give testimony to them. Acts 1:8
- Our vision is a life-changing partnership with an Anglican ministry overseas. Philippians 4:14-20
- Our vision is a mature church balancing all the dimensions of the Church's historic life and witness: evangelical, holiness, sacramental, charismatic, contemplative, and social justice.
- Our vision is to transform Harrisonburg and its religious landscape, increasingly influencing it towards Kingdom norms, by virtue of our existence and ministry partnerships.
- Our vision is a vital Christian community -- dedicated far beyond the norm, a body that brings people to Christ, builds them unto maturity, and mobilizes people and resources locally and globally through Kingdom-minded, unified leadership. Ephesians 3:15-20
